Landscaping in ohio for a reason

Landscaping in Ohio for a Reason

Today is one of those rare occasions I have to stay home and look after an activity which I would consider greater in magnitude than a month’s pay resulting from office labor. Coming up with a landscape design for my Ohio abode is comparatively more difficult than convincing a client that OpenOffice is far better than Microsoft Word. Despite having hired a company that offers landscaping services in Ohio, and is practically responsible for the beautiful features of each and every home and garden in Ohio, I still feel the pressure of having to conceptualize a custom landscape design that is like no other.
See, mom and dad are visiting me next month so I naturally want the house to be as appealing and comfortable for them since they’ll be staying with me for a month or two. My parents’ house in LA is enveloped in flora; mom personally toils her vast garden on a regular basis to ensure the preservation of her expensive Hydrangea, Lisianthus, peonies, all species of orchids, and healthy trees like the Dwarf Korean Lilacs, rows of caliper trees and a Japanese Maple. Indeed, there is no Central Ohio home & garden parallel to that of mom and dad’s which was built on the strong foundation of love.
My parents hardly take out of town trips for they already find their house suffice to be a vacation haven where they can spend hours reading, watching TV or a good movie, playing with their pooches, or gardening together before the barbecue. Even if landscaping in Oh pays well, I’ve sworn never to get into the job since I wouldn’t be able to use it as a gift for my parents anyway. Their knowledge of the green life would only make me feel inadequate to handle other people’s gardens.
Just this one time, I’m preparing the house particularly the garden, making sure it appeals to my parents since this is where they’ll be celebrating their golden anniversary party. This is my surprise gift for them as the demands of my job made me forget to arrange a wedding ceremony for them, to mark their 50 years of togetherness that is filled with love and respect. I told my parents I’ll just make it up to them one of these days, but they have no inkling that that day is drawing closer. Next month is going to be a blast as they’ll be dancing under the stars with friends, relatives and well-wishers to witness the momentous event.

Keep optimum battery performance with leisure battery chargers

Keep Optimum Battery Performance With Leisure Battery Chargers

Leisure battery chargers are those devices used to keep a car, motorcycle and other vehicles charged and working at it’s best. There is a wide range of batteries in the market as there are chargers available, the best way to select a good charger for your battery is by knowing some basic information about the battery, power availability and the purpose of the vehicle.

Batteries can use gel cells, wet cell which are also known as flooded batteries, absorbed glass mat also called AGM, valve regulated lead acid or VRLA and even maintenance free. As time goes by and technology improves new materials and configurations are used to produce batteries for different types of vehicles but for general purposes we can take these materials and configurations as a good example. It is always a good practice to read the specifications straight from the battery you are trying to charge.

After you have figured out the battery type you have then there is another piece of information you will need such as it’s power specifications, some people refer to this specs as the «size» of the battery so don’t get confused when asked this tricky question. According to the vehicle type you will have different power levels which are expressed in terms of «Amps-hours» and «Volts» These numbers will give you a clear idea of the charger you will need, for instance if your battery is rated at 120 Amp hours and you use a 10 Amp charger it might take you around 11-13 hours to completely charge it, if you were to have a 50 amp hour battery it would take you around 5-6 hours to complete charge it using the very same charger.

Today’s leisure chargers are smart and have been built to be compatible with a wide range of battery types and power so matching yours to the right charging device shouldn’t be a problem. The next factor for you to consider is the power availability, some people simply don’t have a power plug in their garage that’s why there are other options which have been tested to charge your battery using solar power, these chargers are quite different from the traditional ones since they provide a flat panel which is weather proof and can gather as much energy as required through its surface, even on cloudy days.

Other devices will let you keep the battery in place (instead of unhooking it) and charge it where it is, these are referred to as chargers and conditioners. They have been designed to provide complete protection against reverse connection and short circuits and can be left connected as they change to pulse conditioning mode after the battery has been fully charged, these are a great option if you have vehicles you don’t use very often but want to keep fully operational.

As you see leisure battery chargers can provide all the power you need and can also keep your vehicles functional even if you don’t use them very often.

How to fix your follow-up and solve your advertising, marketing and sales problems immediately

How to Fix Your Follow-up and Solve Your Advertising, Marketing and Sales Problems Immediately

Copyright (c) 2008 Hal Hoadley

Let’s continue where we left off with «HOW TO FIX YOUR FOLLOW-UP.»

The one thing you need to do right now is to Show Up More. To do this most effectively, you’ll need a direct marketing system. All wealth in America comes from systems. If you want proof, just take a look at the Ford Motor Company. They were first to come up with the assembly line and franchised dealerships in their industry.

The follow-up system is where the giant opportunity is because most businesses do little or no follow-up whatsoever. Response develops through your follow-up system. Whatever your response from a single attempt, it tends to as much as double with the second and third follow-up attempts, and double again with the fourth through whatever follow-up steps you take. Once you understand the virtues of this kind of system, develop it and get it working the quicker you’ll reap the benefits.

Now all that talk about setting up a follow-up system sounds great, but why don’t very many businesses do this? There are three dominant reasons the vast majority of businesses shown this systematic approach fail to develop it for their own business.

1. It’s too hard or it’s too time consuming. It’s work to get it built, tested and working for you successfully.
2. It’s Intricate! A multifaceted marketing system is sustainable and most competitors are too lazy and simple-minded to copy it, even if it is successful.
3. It’s hard to do it manually.

Just as a reminder, I have gathered this information for you while attending the half-day conference with Dan Kennedy (Godfather of Info-Marketing) in August 2008. His direct marketing systems show us how a system directly reaches out to, connects with and brings the desired prospective customer or client to you. His systems also give insight on how to shorten the sales cycle.

«Why is the path to the sale so long?»

You don’t give them sufficient reasons to buy now. You must give them sufficient reasons to buy now. There is a matter of insufficient trust. You must make yourself more trustful. More contacts make them know you better. So, do lots of contacts.

Now let’s talk about closing percentages. You want to take them from 20% to 80%. Here is a sequence that is used quite successfully in Dan Kennedy’s direct marketing systems. You want to extend an invitation designed for a specific audience via a variety of means and media. That could be print advertising, banner advertising at others websites, buying traffic for your website, direct mail to compiled mailing lists or email to opt-in lists. Regardless of means or media, in every place, the same invitation is extended. It is kept simple and clean. It is not an attempt to sell your products or services at all. It’s an invitation for the recipient to request and be provided something of relevance, interest and value to him, free of charge. The more appealing and specifically relevant the item offered, the better the response. That is step one, lead generation. Once you have captured their information, a series of provocative follow-up steps occur, from you, the marketer, to the prospective customer or client. You may treat them all the same and assign them all the same Follow-Up Communications Program. They will all get a series or sequence of multi-media follow-up communications, all designed to persuade them to take one next step. Regardless of the action taken, everything moves the prospects toward this one next step. This is where a follow-up system may divide up the prospects to begin with and send different communications to different groups.

Every business should have an «Alarm Bell» to be included with your follow-up system. You need to know where your customer is and why he isn’t back. You’ll want to have alarm bells for your customers. You’ll want to have more follow-up during campaigns, much more and better «Relationship Marketing» and follow-up day to day.

A false belief many do follow: «get em now or they’re gone forever». With proper follow-up you will not fall for this lie and you can prove it to yourself in a short period of time using a follow-up system.

Here is the Million Dollar question:

WHAT’S NEXT?

This is the marketing principle of «NO DEAD ENDS», everything is a «Cul-de-Sac».

I hope you got a lot out of «How To Fix Your Follow-Up» and start implementing your own follow-up systems. Remember, the best thing to do right now is to let your customers know that your doors are still open and invite them to come by or call even if it’s just to say hello.

How can you be the next einstein by implementing this twenty minutes strategy to become more creatively wacky in life

How can you be the next Einstein by implementing this Twenty minutes strategy to become more creatively wacky in life?

People seem to have the misconception that only a select few are able to unleash a steady flow of creative genius. That is totally absurd. The fact is, creativity is very much like a muscle that needs to be exercised in order to consistently give out great results. If you don’t practice harnessing creative thinking, this skill will very much atrophy into inexistence. But keep working and this skill will soon come to you in a snap.

So how do you unleash your creative thinking? Well, the first thing is to become a human leech. No, we’re not talking about just sucking the blood out of every living being available, we’re saying that you should take in as much knowledge and learning you can find. Read everything available — good and bad, and keep your mind open like a dry sponge waiting to soak up the essence of the good stuff you have read. The more you know, the more you’ll want to know, and the more your faculty of wonder will be exercised. The most creative people I have known are great readers.

Focus on a creative activity everyday. Yes, it’s an effort. Even doodling is a creative activity. Don’t let anything hinder you. Mindlessness may be a creative activity, but for people who are just starting out to unleash a little bit of creative thinking in their lives, it is helpful and encouraging to have concrete evidence, that, «hey, what I’m doing is getting somewhere.» So why don’t you try it. Practice drawing for a couple of minutes each day. Bring out your old camera and start snapping photos like crazy. Keep a journal and make a point to write in it religiously. Another cool idea is to write by describing something with your five senses. Try to avoid vague adjectives like «marvelous,» «amazing,» and «delicious.» Before you know it, you’ll have built yourself a tiny portfolio, and you’ll be amazed at the growth you’ve undertaken after amassing all those works of art. Who knows, you might actually take to liking those things you do everyday. Pretty soon those things will become a part of you and you’ll be addicted to these creative exercises.

Think out of the box — or don’t. Sometimes, constraints are actually a good thing. Limitations discipline you to work within your means. It enables you to be more resourceful. Creative freedom is great, but limitations enforce discipline.

Try something-new everyday and let your experiences broaden your perspective. Read books that you normally don’t read. Give seminars a try. Seminars are beaming with positive and energetic people. Meet and talk to new people. They will broaden your perspective, adds depth to your knowledge database as well. Go a step even further by participating in team events. A powerful team event is a Mastermind group. Great thinkers and achievers have the habit of coming together to exchange and share their knowledge and experiences. Synergy breeds the sparking of new ideas and breakthroughs in life and business. And you are just one step away from thinking at 100 miles per hour.

Remember being creative does not take a good deal of work and time. It can be learned. Remember, also, that it is not about just you. It is about you and the people around you.

Start now. Take your stand and be creative today. Be the next Einstein in the making.

Lease versus own

Lease Versus Own

Lease versus Own

The foundation for success…

A common challenge for all businesses is how to pay for the equipment needed to perform their services. Even among experts and professionals, opinions will often vary. The one thing you must recognize is that each business is unique and there are no standards that work for everyone. Only you know what your capital reserves are and what type of reserves your business will require from month-to-month. While some businesses are more sophisticated than others, only you have access to the full spectrum of your financial position today and the forecast of what responsibilities there are to come. It is not only essential that you prepare yourself adequately; it’s crucial.

In the beginning, one of the first professionals you should confer with is a Tax professional. This person can view your company in its totality and then match your company’s needs with the proper tax plan. It is an accepted belief that proper tax planning is the primary step to a successful business. Upon properly identifying your needs, it’s now time to strategize your method of operation. To assist you with that method, we’ve compiled a simple list of the advantages and disadvantages of leasing equipment versus that of buying it. This list is generic but reveals the industry norms of features and benefits. As you review, apply these characters to your business and see how it measures up. Good luck!

Own

1. When you decide what equipment to use, you are of course purchasing it. The equipment is yours to do with as you please.

2. By purchasing the equipment, you have immediately created an asset to your company profile.

3. Depending on what your equipment is and how your company is structured; you may be entitled to certain tax benefits such as writing off the expense in the first year. (Check with a tax professional)

4. There are no payments. (You own it.)

5. Now that you own the equipment, you have the option to resell it. (At a lesser price)

Lease

1. The first benefit is that if you don’t have the reserves to purchase, a lease is a viable option.

2. If you were going to purchase with a bank loan, then the bank would likely require a 20% down payment. By leasing the equipment, the standard is that you are required one or two month’s payment upfront and that’s it.

3. Although you are leasing the equipment, it is still an asset to your company.

4. Even though you have a monthly payment, you also have the option to upgrade the equipment prior to it becoming obsolete.

5. When you acquire assets, you want assets that will appreciate in value not depreciate. With many equipment materials needed to function, they will depreciate after the first year of usage.

6. By leasing all of your equipment, you may be able to fully write-off up to 100% of your payments as a business expense. (Check with a tax professional.)

7. Most items can be leased such as phones, furniture and computers, not just heavy machinery.

8. Choosing a lease allows you the flexibility to maintain capital reserves for payroll and miscellaneous expenses that may occur.

9. There are numerous types of leases that can cater to your business profile and your company’s needs.

10. Lease rates are ‘fixed’ and range in term from 12 to 60 months.

As you can see, the features of leasing far outweigh that of purchasing or owning the equipment for many businesses. Eight out of ten businesses prefer leasing over that of buying. The list you just reviewed points out the key components to both options but with further investigation, you’ll find that leasing offers many more opportunities to fulfill your desires.

Please speak with an equipment leasing professional to locate the proper lease for your company. It’s good business!
